Abstract: Are you interested in writing a program that can find an
optimal solution to a problem by breeding, mutating, and killing off bad
solutions? Join Dr. Ryan Bockmon as he teaches you about creating an
Artificial Intelligence to find an optimal solution by simulating
Natural Selection by using the Genetic Algorithm. During his teaching
demonstration you will gain a better understanding of how Natural
Selection works and how to bridge the gap between understanding
high-level concepts (such as Natural Selection) and being able to write
code to simulate these high-level concepts.
